At Latch, we know that building or renovating a home can feel daunting, especially if you don’t know where to begin.
That’s why we keep the process clear, collaborative, and tailored to you. Whether you’re restoring a heritage gem or starting fresh, we’re here to make the process transparent and as personal and rewarding as the outcome.
First meeting
Whether you’re planning a renovation or a brand-new build, it all starts with a conversation. We’ll sit down to understand your goals, lifestyle, budget and timeline.
Design & Planning
Already have an architect? We’ll work alongside them from the outset. Need help getting started? We can engage a trusted draftsperson, architect or interior designer to bring your ideas to life.
We’ll also guide you through the feasibility and any necessary council approvals.
Costs & Contracts
Once the design is in place, we’ll provide a clear, detailed cost breakdown - no guesswork, no surprises. We’ll walk you through the contract so you know exactly what to expect.
If you are already working with an architect, we will submit a tender and a detailed trade breakdown.
The Construction
This is where everything comes together. Josh is on site, overseeing the build with diligence and consistency. You will receive regular updates and walkthroughs at key milestones. We value communication and transparency at every stage, and each build is tailored to the clients specific needs.
Handover & Beyond
When the final finishes are complete and every detail checked, we’ll walk you through your new home and hand over the keys. However, our relationship doesn’t end there. Many of Josh’s past clients have returned for future builds or renovations, and we’re always just a phone call away.
