A new name built on experience
Latch Construct may be a new chapter, but it’s built on decades of trust. Our Founder & Director, Josh Bower, spent over 20 years as co-director of Bower Construction and Design, delivering award-winning homes across South Australia in collaboration with leading architects.
Today, Latch carries forward that legacy with a personal, design-led focus.

We take on a select number of homes each year so we can stay hands-on, detail-driven and fully present through every stage of the project from tender to toast-worthy reveal
Why Latch Construct?
There’s a moment in every build when things click into place. For us, that moment is everything. Our work is grounded in the connection between ideas and outcomes, past and present, vision and execution. It’s where our name comes from. And it’s why we love doing what we do.
“The Latch” was also the name of Josh’s childhood home which his family renovated, sparking a lifelong appreciation for how great design can shape our lives.
